CHRISTINA AGUILERA has slammed the "bad girl" image given to her by the press after she released her raunchy DIRRTY video - because she fails to see what's wrong with expressing her sexuality.

The 23-year-old singer is angry women are unable to star in explicit music promos, and believes society as a whole is inherently misogynistic.

Aguilera says, "I have been portrayed as bad but that was never really me. I think I am a good girl and always have been.

"I see my persona as one of a strong, aggressive female who has every right to be outspoken in her sexuality.

"Of course I had to go against many opinions of people who didn't agree with the way I looked or the kind of videos I put out.

"But from the beginning of time women have had to put up with men trying to gain power by suppressing the woman and making her feel wrong about her sexuality.

"They make up words that label women who are expressive about their sexuality."
