BEN AFFLECK - AFFLECK'S KID BROTHER GETS ENGAGED

BEN AFFLECK's little bother CASEY is set to beat him to the altar, after proposing to his girlfriend SUMMER PHOENIX.

Casey, 28, proposed to 25-year-old Summer in New York over the Christmas holidays with a platinum and diamond ring of his own design. They have yet to set a wedding date.

The engagement comes as an extra dose of good news for the pair, who are expecting their first child in May (04).

Summer, younger sister of actors JOAQUIN and the late RIVER, plans to give birth in Europe, where her fiance will be filming OCEAN'S 12 alongside BRAD PITT and GEORGE CLOONEY.

Meanwhile, GIGLI co-stars Ben and JENNIFER LOPEZ have yet to walk down the aisle, after calling off their September (0) nuptials, citing the high level of press attention for their decision.
