BEN AFFLECK - AFFLECK SELLS BARRYMORE'S OLD HOME

Hollywood hunk BEN AFFLECK is selling the fire-damaged home he bought from DREW BARRYMORE, after giving it a full makeover.

The DAREDEVIL star, engaged to actress JENNIFER LOPEZ, has owned the Beverly Hills, California, home since March 2002, when he bought it from Barrymore for around $3 million (GBP1.8 million).

While CHARLIE'S ANGELS star Barrymore owned the property, which she shared with then-husband TOM GREEN, the main house suffered a major fire and was eventually removed as a result.

Affleck remodelled the three guesthouses on the 2.5-acre (one hectare) property and converted the tennis court to a basketball court. He's now selling it for $4.5 million (GBP2.8 million).

The compound, built in the 1920s, also has a theatre and a pool.

Affleck, who owns a grand residence in Georgia, is now without a Los Angeles-area home, after recently selling his Hollywood Hills abode, which he leased out to tenants.

His fiancee J.LO, however, owns a palatial home in the area.
