Hollywood actor BEN AFFLECK has signed up to play BRAT FARRAR in a forthcoming adaptation of JOSEPHINE TEY's novel of the same name.
Affleck - who separated from fiance JENNIFER LOPEZ last month (JAN04) - will star as Brat, who impersonates a man to gain access to a fortune.
The movie has been adapted for the screen by FIGHT CLUB writer JIM UHLS.
