Ben Affleck - Affleck Auctions Dinner Date

BEN AFFLECK is among a list of stars offering fans the chance to dine with him - as long as they make a huge charity donation.

The Hollywood hunk will take a fan and eight of their pals out to dinner at Bonifre in his Boston, Massachusetts, hometown, if they win the bidding war, with money going to the actor's pet charity, the AT (Ataxia-Telangiectasia) CHILDREN'S PROJECT.

He jokes, "I have dinner with me for free, and sometimes I don't even want to," adding that he's sure he'll get "rock bottom" bids.

RICKY MARTIN is offering bidders a Latin-infused meal with him at Miami's Chef Allen's, benefitting PEOPLE FOR CHILDREN, while LEONARDO DiCAPRIO is making himself available to share Mediterranean fare at Los Angeles' Table 8, in aid of THE LEONARDO DiCAPRIO FOUNDATION, supporting environmental causes.

SARAH JESSICA PARKER plans to share a table with her fans over Italian food at New York City's Babbo, handing over cash to UNICEF and the NEW YORK RESTORATION PROJECT, while BENJAMIN BRATT and his wife TALISTA SOTO will dine with bidders at San Francisco's Restaurant Gary Danko for OPERATION RAINBOW.

Bidding kicks off today (23SEP04) on eBAY website GODIVA.COM/CHARITYAUCTION, and will conclude on 3 October (04).
