Movie star TERRENCE HOWARD owes his success with women to the ugliest black man he has ever met.

The CRASH star admits his pal TWEETY BIRD gave him the best advice about the opposite sex after the actor asked him how he always got the girl, despite his looks.

He says, "(He told me) 'You don't talk really when you're with a woman, you just look at her for a long time, just don't say a word, don't blink - you keep looking at her and you make sure there's a little smile on your mouth, and the only words you say (are) 'Come here.'

"You've got to make the eye contact and then you reach into their spirit... and I've tried it. It works."
