Former ABBA stars BJORN ULVAEUS and BENNY ANDERSSON are embroiled in a court battle with a scriptwriter who claims he penned the script for their musical KRISTINA FROM DUVEMALA.

The DANCING QUEEN hitmakers have visited Stockholm District Court in their native Sweden in an attempt to solve the ten-year dispute, but were unsuccessful and experts predict the case will go to trial early next year (06).

Ulvaeus and Andersson originally hired CARL-JOHAN SETH to create a script for the hit stage show, but now claim the final result is not his work because of extensive revisions by director LARS RUDOLFSSON and dramatist JAN MARK.

Kristina From Duvemala has enjoyed runaway success in the band's native Sweden, and is shortly expected to move to Broadway.
