OPRAH WINFREY - 60 STARS TO HOST 60TH TONY AWARDS

The 60th Tony Awards in New York next month (JUN06) will be a star-studded affair with 60 co-hosts representing each year of the theatre world's prizegiving ceremony. OPRAH WINFREY, ANNA PAQUIN, JULIA ROBERTS, RALPH FIENNES and CYNTHIA NIXON are among the stars who will host short segments of the show, which will be take place at Radio City Music Hall on 11 June (06). In a statement, RICKY KIRSHNER and GLENN WEISS, the executive producers of the award ceremony, say, "The 60th Anniversary show is bigger than just one host, so we've put together a line-up of 60 stars from the stage to lead our celebration."
