50 CENT is staggered by fellow rap star NELLY's fondness for enormous diamonds, and is terrified his 'bling' addiction is spiralling out of control.

The CANDY SHOP star has slammed Nelly as a "fool" for wasting his hard-earned cash on strings of jewels, and insists his entourage should guide him away from diamond emporiums whenever he reaches for his bulging wallet.

50 Cent says, aghast, "I've never seen a chain with ice that big and that clean.

"Not to say Nelly doesn't have the dough (money) to do it, but I would hope the people around him are smart enough to tell him not to.

"If you gon' spend $5 million on diamonds, you's a damn fool."
