50 CENT - 50 CENT CHANGES NAMES IN BIOGRAPHY

50 CENT has changed all of the names in his new biography FROM PIECES TO WEIGHT: ONCE UPON A TIME IN SOUTHSIDE QUEENS - because he wants to avoid paying out royalties to pals.

With the help of journalist KRIS EX, the IN DA CLUB rapper charts his rise from a life of crime to becoming a top-selling hip-hop star.

And while 50 Cent was willing to share the harsh realities of his life with fans, he refused to share names.

He says, "(I changed the names) in case somebody wants some of the money I make off it; if they wanna come back and sue me for my life."

And 50 Cent, real name CURTIS JACKSON, jokingly adds that real names aren't the only things left out of the novel.

He notes, "I didn't think anyone would be interested in my athlete's feet so I said, 'I'm a leave that part out.' I had a bad case when I was about 14. It went away though."
