GWYNETH PALTROW - 'ECSTATIC' GWYNETH TO WED?

LATEST: Actress GWYNETH PALTROW is "ecstatic" at the news she's pregnant by musician boyfriend CHRIS MARTIN - and is planning to marry him soon.

According to pals, the SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE star, 31, and her 26-year-old COLDPLAY boyfriend were trying for a child, but were surprised at how quickly she conceived - and may now celebrate the news by accelerating plans to wed.

One friend says, "She is absolutely ecstatic. They only just started trying and are thrilled that it happened so quickly.

"Gwyneth and Chris are devoted to each other and will probably get married before they have the baby."

And while some speculate the child will be named after Gwyneth's late, beloved dad BRUCE, another adds, "What she wants most is for her baby to be healthy - whether it's male or female."
