CATHERINE ZETA-JONES scored a role in the upcoming heist movie OCEAN'S TWELVE after impressing the movie's producer JERRY WEINTRAUB - by singing in a bar.
The OSCAR-winning actress, who stars alongside GEORGE CLOONEY, MATT DAMON, JULIA ROBERTS and BRAD PITT in the movie, captured the attention of Weintraub as she sang in a bar during the VENICE FILM FESTIVAL.
Clooney says, "Jerry and I were there and... Catherine got up and sang at the bar and played the piano.
"At about four in the morning, while she's singing, literally somebody fell over the table and crashed. And Catherine kept singing and kept drinking. Jerry Weintraub goes, "We gotta get this broad in the movie!'"
