JAY JENKINS - YOUNG JEEZY ARRESTED AFTER FIGHT

Rapper YOUNG JEEZY was arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning (11MAR06), after shots were fired in Miami, Florida. The 28-year-old hip-hop star - real name JAY JENKINS - was later charged with carrying a concealed firearm without a valid license. According to police reports, Jenkins was among a group of men involved in a fight, who then turned on a passer-by who had been filming the brawl. When the man refused to hand over his camera, shots were fired. Jenkins and his friends fled the scene on two vehicles, but were later stopped by officers who discovered a semi-automatic weapon under Jenkins' seat and another firearm near his armrest. Two members of Jenkins' entourage were also arrested - TRAMIEL DE JUAN GOLDEN was charged with strong armed robbery, while STEVEN LESLY SAVAIN was taken into custody on a pre-existing trespass warrant.
