X-MEN - X-MEN PAINTBALL PROBLEMS

Fun paintball encounters caused havoc on the set of the X-MEN sequel - because stars would turn up with welts and bruises.

OSCAR-winner ANNA PAQUIN was particularly unpopular with the make-up artists, who had to cover her bruises for filming.

She says, "I didn't think paintball would leave such huge marks but they were these huge round things.

"I wore a T-shirt so I had them all over my neck and chest. They looked like hickies. The make-up department was far from pleased when I showed up for work in the morning. I was covered in bruises."
