ELIJAH WOOD - WOOD WANTED KONG ROLE
NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY |

Diminutive actor ELIJAH WOOD wanted to reprise his role as a hobbit in KING KONG, but had to shelve the idea because his fellow THE LORD OF THE RINGS stars were too busy.
The 25-year-old was in discussions with director PETER JACKSON about the trio of hobbits making a cameo appearance in the giant ape drama, but co-stars DOMINIC MONAGHAN and BILLY BOYD were working on other projects.
He says, "We had conceived of trying to get the hobbits in the film, maybe some sort of cameo appearance and getting stomped on by a giant foot.
"We never got to do it because Dom was busy on LOST, and Billy was working. We just couldn't coordinate our schedules."
