BIJOU PHILLIPS - WILD CHILD BIJOU TAKES TO THE SCREEN

Wildchild BIJOU PHILLIPS has abandoned her dream to become a pop star to focus on her new passion - acting.

The glamorous daughter of MAMAS AND PAPAS rocker JOHN PHILLIPS once claimed music was her "true path", but since working with BIG LEBOWSKI star JEFF BRIDGES on movie THE DOOR IN THE FLOOR last year (04), she's been bitten by the acting bug.

When British film magazine EMPIRE asked if the former party girl was still making music, the 24-year-old replied, "Not so much. A little. I'm really serious about acting now."

Bijou, who has been described as "out of control" in the past, claims she has calmed down. She added, "(When you're acting) you can't throw a fit or take it too personally."
