DIANNE WIEST - WIEST'S DAUGHTER PLEADS GUILTY TO IPOD THEFT

Oscar-winning actress DIANNE WIEST's teenage daughter EMILY pleaded guilty to stealing a digital music player in a New York City court on Monday (15MAY06). The BULLETS OVER BROADWAY star's 18-year-old daughter and two female classmates from Midtown's Beekman School in New York were accused of punching and kicking a male pupil before stealing his Apple iPod. Emily entered a guilty plea to petty larceny in Manhattan Criminal Court, where she was sentenced to two days community service and will have to pay the boy back $150 (GBP830) to replace his iPod. Emily will serve her community service in Florida, where she now lives with her famous mother.
