WHOOPI GOLDBERG is set to join the ranks of JAMIE LEE CURTIS and MADONNA by becoming a children's author.
The GHOST star has become a big fan of children's tales ever since she started reading them to her grandchildren and now she wants to have a crack at writing one.
She says, "If I can give kids and their parents something that'll make them smile and maybe teaches them a little something about living with one another on our planet, it makes me a happy granny."
