JACK WHITE - WHITE LOVED PRODUCING ALBUM FOR IDOL LYNN

Rocker JACK WHITE has yet another woman in his life - country music legend LORETTA LYNN.
The WHITE STRIPES frontman recently produced Lynn's new album VAN LEAR ROSE during a two week period in Nashville, and the two are now firm friends
And the prolific 28-year-old also played guitar and piano on the forthcoming disc, and even sang with Lynn on a track called PORTLAND, OREGON.
The pair became pals after lifelong fan White dedicated his debut album WHITE BLOOD CELLS to Lynn, which contained a cover of her tune RATED X.
Lynn then thanked him for his support and they eventually performed together at a New York show in 2003.
Of the new album, admirer White says, "Loretta just sang like a 21-year-old. It was amazing.
"I'm so proud of this, because it's the first album since her very first record where all the songs are written by her.
"It's Loretta like I've always wanted to hear her - Loretta like she should be heard. It really turned out perfect."
This is not the first time White has performed with one of his childhood idols.
He recently took the stage with legendary folk rocker BOB DYLAN, to duet on BALL AND BISCUIT, a track from the White Stripes latest album ELEPHANT.
White says, "There's no topping that. I can go on for an hour-and-a-half talking about it, or I can just say it was splendid."
