WESTLIFE singer KIAN EGAN has blown apart the assumption he is preparing to wed his actress girlfriend JODI ALBERT (corr.) - claiming they're too young to marry.

It had been reported the Irish star, 24, had proposed to his 20-year-old lover - who stars in British soap HOLLYOAKS - but Egan has dubbed the news "rubbish".

He says, "We're both young and nowhere near ready to wed."
