KANYE WEST - WEST PROMISES TO BEHAVE AT AWARDS CEREMONY

KANYE WEST has promised not to repeat his American Music Award tantrum at this month's MTV Video Music Awards if he doesn't get a prize.
The rapper is odds on to pick up at least one prize at the 28 August (05) event - he is nominated in three categories, and two videos he directed, JOHN LEGEND'S ORDINARY PEOPLE and COMMON's GO, are also up for awards.
But West insists he will remain dignified, should he suffer defeat, unlike at the AMAs last November (04), when he criticised the decision to leave him empty-handed.
He tells MTV News, "If I don't win, I can't say I won't be disappointed. But I won't spaz (sic) out and go up there. I did that. I can't do that every time."
