WEEZER - WEEZER STARS TO PLAY VELVET UNDERGROUND FOUNDERS

WEEZER stars PAT WILSON and BRIAN BELL have landed roles in the star-studded EDIE SEDGWICK biopic FACTORY GIRL - as THE VELVET UNDERGROUND founders LOU REED and JOHN CALE.

The film stars SIENNA MILLER as Sedgwick, GUY PEARCE as ANDY WARHOL and HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN as DANNY QUINN, a character loosely based on BOB DYLAN.

Wilson and Bell have also recorded a cover of The Velvet Underground drug ode HEROIN for the film's soundtrack.
