Screen icon SIGOURNEY WEAVER refuses to live in Los Angeles because everyone there is obsessed with Hollywood.

The ALIEN star vows never to leave her native New York because she can lead a normal life there without being plagued by wannabe script-writers and actors.

The 55-year-old says, "I'd rather go work for a florist. I was once getting a gynaecological examination there and the doctor said, 'I've written a script.'"
