TOM WAITS - WAITS + KRONOS QUARTET OFFER EXCLUSIVE TRACK TO RELIEF ALBUM

An unreleased collaboration between reclusive rocker TOM WAITS and the KRONOS QUARTET is to head up an upcoming compilation to aid the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.

Only 10,000 copies of the double album, also featuring unreleased tracks from BECK, GANG OF FOUR, CALEXICO and SIGUR ROS, will be available.

The album is a joint venture between US clothing store Urban Outfitters and Filter magazine.

The project will be available next month (OCT05) in Urban Outfitters stores across America. All proceeds will be donated to Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
