British comedian JOHNNY VEGAS has found himself an unlikely fan in Hollywood actor JOHNNY DEPP.
Portly Vegas, who co-stars with Depp on forthcoming movie THE LIBERTINE, has enticed the superstar to attend one of his stand-up performances this weekend (24/25APR04) on the Isle of Man, where they are filming.
An insider says, "Johnny was surprised to learn that Mr Depp was such a fan.
"He said he'd treat him, JOHN MALKOVICH and the rest of the cast to a night of comedy if they dug deep for the MENINGITIS TRUST."
