VANESSA REDGRAVE - VANESSA REDGRAVE REVEALS MISCARRIAGE MISERY

Screen queen VANESSA REDGRAVE tragically lost a child after suffering a miscarriage in the sixties.

The HOWARD'S END star is mother to actresses JOELY and NATASHA RICHARDSON, whose father is TONY RICHARDSON, as well as CARLO GABRIEL NERO.

Redgrave says, "I had always wanted five children when I was younger. That was my dream, I wanted five and I don't think I'd have been bothered if it had turned out to be six.

"In the end I had four, but I lost the fourth one. I had a miscarriage.

"All's well that end's well, and anyway, I've got lots of lovely grandchildren."
