NATALIE PORTMAN - V FOR VENDETTA DELAY 'NOTHING TO DO WITH VISUAL EFFECTS'

Movie bosses have denied reports the upcoming NATALIE PORTMAN movie V FOR VENDETTA has been delayed because its visual effects wouldn't be completed on time.
The terrorism-themed film, which also stars HUGO WEAVING and JOHN HURT, has had its release date moved from November (05) to next year (06).
But the chairman of Cinesite, the company responsible for providing the visual effects for the Warner Bros movie, has blasted media reports of their being behind schedule.
COLIN BROWN says, "We have never missed a deadline.
"I've spoken to Warner Bros who say that whatever the reasons may have been to postpone the release of V For Vendetta, it has nothing to do with late delivery of VFX (visual effects).
"On the contrary, Warners have been more than happy with the quality, creativity and delivery schedule they have received from Cinesite."
