R+B superstar USHER has doubled up his success in Britain - topping both the singles and albums charts.

The singer's smash hit YEAH extended its stay at number one yesterday (28MAR04) and his new album CONFESSIONS went straight to the top of the albums chart, toppling off GEORGE MICHAEL's PATIENCE.

Usher's Yeah is also the number one record across Europe, according to the latest Eurochart Hot 100 Singles roundup.

The rapper is set to repeat his double success in America this week (beg29MAR04) - Confessions is tipped to knock off NORAH JONES from the top of the BILLBOARD albums charts, while Yeah has been the number one single in America for the past six weeks.
