MIKE TYSON - TYSON: 'I WANT TO BE A MISSIONARY'

Troubled boxer MIKE TYSON wants to quit the sport for good and become a missionary.

The 38-year-old is disillusioned and bitter about his failed relationships, the three year prison sentence for rape and the bankruptcy that forced him to return to the ring to pay off his debts - and he dreams of escaping.

Tyson - who will fight 31-year-old Irishman KEVIN McBRIDE next weekend (11JUN05) says, "My whole life has been a waste. I've been a failure.

"I just want to escape. I'm really embarrassed with myself and my life.

"I want to be a missionary. I think I could do that while keeping my dignity without letting people know they chased me out of the country."
