EMMA THOMPSON has been given an unflattering porcine nickname by her husband, in honour of her devotion to pig-packed movie BABE. The Oscar-winner bought two fluffy pigs based on the adored film character, inspiring her partner GREG WISE to call her "Two Pigs Thompson". She says, "I was doing press for SENSE AND SENSIBILITY in Tokyo. The film Babe had just been released, so I bought two fluffy Babe toys. "On the way home, my luggage was lost and ended up with just these two pigs. "Greg renamed me Two Pigs Thompson. Now it's just plain Pig!"
