SPARTA - THE VINES REPLACED ON INCUBUS TOUR BY SPARTA

LATEST: Rockers SPARTA have stepped in to replace THE VINES as the opening act on INCUBUS' North American tour, after they backed out citing "mental and physical exhaustion issues".

The Vines, who have been plagued by infighting and poor reviews for their latest album WINNING DAYS, are now reported to be taking "a break" from the music industry.

The tour runs from 24 June (04) in Atlantic City, New Jersey, to 18 August (04) in Los Angeles.

The opening slot for Incubus, however, prevents Sparta from performing on the LOLLAPALOOZA tour, for which they had been scheduled.
