DWAYNE JOHNSON - THE ROCK DOUBLES UP SUPERHERO ROLES

Wrestling star-turned-movie action man THE ROCK is in negotiations to bring two comic book superheroes to life on the big screen.

THE SCORPION KING star, real name DWAYNE JOHNSON, has been attached to a movie based on comic book character SUB-MARINER for some time and now he's in talks to star in a movie based on THE SILVER SURFER story, according to the MARVEL DIRECTORY.

WESLEY SNIPES and VIN DIESEL have both been attached to the Silver Surfer project at different times.

If The Rock signs on to play the Surfer, he'll play NORRIN RADD who becomes a protector of earth after initially being sent to destroy the planet.
