THE PIXIES - THE PIXIES CONFIRM REUNION

Legendary rock band THE PIXIES have delighted their legion of fans by officially confirming they are reforming.

Although it has been reported the WHERE IS MY MIND? fourpiece were expected to play together for the first time since their split in 1993 at the COACHELLA FESTIVAL, California in May (04), confirmation had not been given.

However, a spokesperson for the band has now told the PLAYLOUDER website the reunion will definitely take place.

They state, "For a long time, it was far from certain that this would actually happen. However, you may be interested to learn that, at last, the reunion has been confirmed. The band are holding a press conference in Los Angeles, and their booking agents have been confirming shows with promoters over the last few days."

The seminal band are expected to play warm up shows in Canada prior to the festival, and will then visit Europe to play festivals and some headlining shows.
