THE EAGLES - THE EAGLES TO PLAY OFFBEAT VENUES

THE EAGLES are making a return to their adopted home state of California for a tour - and they've included fairgrounds among their performance venues.

The HOTEL CALIFORNIA rockers have booked offbeat and rural venues, with stops at Angel Camp's Calaveras Country Fairgrounds on 13 August (05), a soccer field in Ronhert Park on 14 August (05) and the 4,500-seat Santa Barbara County Bowl on 16 August (05).

While they'll also be playing at big arenas on their California Tour, some of the other venues have never even hosted a concert before.

Tickets for select dates went on sale yesterday (11APR05).
