US rock band SYSTEM OF A DOWN are determined to stay humble despite the band's huge success.

The long-haired MESMERISE stars never expected such a meteoric rise to fame, but their philosophy is to keep improving and always value their loyal fans.

Guitarist and vocalist DARON MALAKIAN says, "I probably didn't think it would get to the point where we're at now.

"I try to keep our mental state and our hunger the same as we had, never being satisfied, always building.

"When a bunch of people show up just for us, I'm still blown away by it and I don't take it lightly. All it makes me feel is very lucky."
