SLAYER - SURGERY PUSHES BACK SLAYER TOUR

SLAYER frontman TOM ARAYA underwent minor surgery on his gall-bladder last week (ends05MAY06), forcing the band's Unholy Alliance: Preaching To The Perverted tour to be postponed. The tour - which will also feature metal icons LAMB OF GOD, MASTODON, CHILDREN OF BODOM and THINE EYES BLEED - was scheduled to start on 6 June (06) in San Diego, California, but will now kick off four days later (10JUN06) in Peoria, Illinois. The San Diego gig will now take place on 20 July, while the 7 June date in Las Vegas has been moved to 24 July, and the Denver show on 9 June has been rescheduled for 26 July.
