Fans of QUENTIN TARANTINO's KILL BILL movies can get a rare glimpse of the director's painstaking search for a stuntwoman to double up for UMA THURMAN - in a new documentary about Australian danger-girl ZOE BELL.

In DOUBLE DARE, film-maker AMANDA MICHELI follows Bell's journey to become Thurman's stuntwoman after years spent playing LUCY LAWLESS' double on TV show XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS.

Bell teams up with veteran stuntwoman JEANNIE EPPER, who used to double for WONDER WOMAN LYNDA CARTER.

In the film, Tarantino admits he came close to calling off his martial arts-fuelled Kill Bill movies, which were saved by Bell after he grew disappointed by the karate experts who auditioned for him in Los Angeles before he started filming in Beijing, China.

Tarantino says, "Zoe had to work out. We didn't have anybody. We were s**ting bricks."

The documentary also features interviews with Carter, Lawless and STEVEN SPIELBERG, who cast Epper, her daughter EURLYN and brothers GARY and TONY in a fight scene in his cult movie 1941.
