THE STROKES - STROKES PLAN PIXIES DUET

American chart-toppers THE STROKES are planning to collaborate with their music heroes THE PIXIES at a festival in Scotland this summer (04).

The LAST NITE rockers were thrilled to find the two groups are both on the same bill to perform at the T IN THE PARK event near Kinross, Scotland in July - and are hopeful they may get the chance to work together.

Guitarist ALBERT HAMMOND JR says, "I don't know - I know that we're lucky enough to be playing with the Pixies, which is a dream come true really, and who knows, maybe something happens with the band, but you know it's more fun to be spontaneous with that, maybe it happens like a surprise and not anything that's said before, you know!"
