JOSS STONE - STONE TO DUET WITH GROHL

Soul sensation JOSS STONE will make her rock debut next month (AUG05) when she to collaborates with FOO FIGHTER DAVE GROHL, who begged the singer to duet with him.

The former NIRVANA drummer was so impressed by the 18-year-old's sensational vocal range, he tracked her down and spent the afternoon with her, planning a suitable duet.

An insider says, "Dave adores Joss. He's totally blown away by her vocal abilities and made a direct beeline for her when he spotted her backstage at a gig.

"They hung out together for the whole afternoon and if they can arrange their busy schedules to suit, there'll definitely be some form of collaboration in the future."

Stone will follow in the footsteps of jazz singer NORAH JONES, who guests on the rock band's latest album IN YOUR HONOR.
