ROD STEWART's girlfriend PENNY LANCASTER knows how to keep him fit - she refuses to sleep with him if he fails to stick to his exercise regime.

The DO YA THINK I'M SEXY? singer, 59, follows a specially-devised fitness schedule devised by his 33-year-old lover, and is rewarded in the bedroom after each training session.

Lancaster says, "I'm a qualified aerobics instructor so I train Rod every day when he's on tour.

"He's actually very fit, but I'm always having to push him.

"I also have my own special incentives, which I'll leave to your imagination...let's just say the post-exercise is a lot more fun."
