CHRISTOPHER REEVE - STARS PAY TRIBUTE TO DANA REEVE

LATEST: A host of stars paid tribute to CHRISTOPHER REEVE's brave wife DANA at a special memorial service in New York City yesterday (10APR06). The actress/singer lost her battle with lung cancer on 6 March (06), but famous pals including PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN, HILLARY CLINTON, ROBIN WILLIAMS and LANCE ARMSTRONG are keen for her memory to live on. New York senator Clinton said, "She was one of the most exceptional people I have ever known. She had a light within her that was captured by the way people talked about her today, especially her son and stepchildren." The private memorial was held at the New Amsterdam Theatre on 42nd Street in Times Square. The Reeve family has requested that donations in lieu of flowers be made in Dana's honour to the Christopher Reeve Foundation.
