BARBERSHOP - STARS ADD THEIR VOICES TO SPAWN

BARBERSHOP star KEITH DAVID has reprised his role as the voice of toxic superhero SPAWN in cartoon and toy king TODD McFARLANE's latest animation project.

David is joined by ROCKY star CARL WEATHERS, STAR WARS hero MARK HAMILL and TRON's BRUCE BOXLEITNER, among others, on the new project, which McFarlane is shopping around TV networks in the US.

The animator has revived his comic book creature from hell, who constantly fights a constant battle between the forces of good and evil, after a cartoon series ended in 1999.

The new animated Spawn, the subject of a live-action movie released in 1997, will appear on an already-filmed DVD in 2006 if the show isn't picked up.
