BRITNEY SPEARS has hit out at stories her five-month marriage to KEVIN FEDERLINE is in trouble, insisting "we are going to be together for ever".

Reports this week claim the singer is upset with Federline regularly spending his weekends partying in Las Vegas with his male friends.

But in a new magazine interview, Spears maintains her relationship with her dancer spouse is going from strength-to-strength since they tied the knot in September last year (04).

She says, "We're going to be together for ever. We know that, and that's the only thing that matters."

Federline agrees, "I could go on for ever about my love for this girl.

"I could be sitting at home doing nothing. I could be playing video games.

"She's more proud of me than anyone has ever, ever, ever been in my lifetime."
