Oscar winner MIRA SORVINO has an arresting new job as an honorary deputy sheriff in Pennsylvania.
The MIGHTY APHRODITE star was sworn in by Lackawanna County Sheriff JOHN SZYMANSKI on Tuesday (27DEC05).
The actress was joined by husband CHRIS BACKUS, daughter MATTEA and her father PAUL SORVINO, who was sworn in as a deputy sheriff by Szymanski 24 years ago.
She says, "I have a picture of me as a 14-year-old, when he was sworn in."
