MICHAEL W SMITH - SMITH TOPS DOVE NOMINATIONS

Singer MICHAEL W SMITH leads the pack of nominees for the 36th annual DOVE AWARDS with a total of eight nods.

Smith will compete against MERCYME, CASTING CROWNS, SELAH and Christian rockers SWITCHFOOT.

Casting Crowns follows Smith with seven nominations.

The GOSPEL MUSIC ASSOCIATION's Dove Awards will be presented on 13 April (05) at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee.
