SLIPKNOT - SLIPKNOT STAR BREAKS HIS WRIST

SLIPKNOT guitarist JIM ROOT is fighting to get fit and return to the group's US tour after breaking his wrist last week (14OCT05).

The rocker broke his wrist following an accident shortly before the band launched its tour in Cincinnati, Ohio on Friday night and had to pull out of the show.

Root's wrist was set in plaster later that night and he has been told by doctors to keep the cast on for at least six weeks.
