Former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist SLASH has rubbished reports he is considering reuniting with his former bandmates, insisting the rumours are completely false. Rumours circulated last month (MAY06) that Slash - real name SAUL HUDSON - would be playing with the band during their New York City shows, but the VELVET REVOLVER rocker insists he has no interest in returning to his past. In March (06), just two months before the New York City gigs, lead singer AXL ROSE filed a lawsuit against his former bandmate to confirm his "ownership of his own creative works" in response to an action Slash and former Guns N' Roses bassist DUFF MCKAGAN had filed over royalty issues. Slash tells MTV news that he's barely had any contact with the band in the last decade: "I don't know where (the rumours come) from, but I haven't dealt with Guns N' Roses any more than I have in the last 10 years. "So it's not really a thing with me. I have, in the foreseeable future, no re-involvement with the band whatsoever."
