JESSICA SIMPSON - SIMPSON FAMILY HAS HOLIDAY DOWN UNDER

JESSICA SIMPSON flew into Australia yesterday morning (10APR06) to show her support for her sister ASHLEE, who is hosting the MTV Australian Video Music Awards tomorrow night (12APR06). The singer was ushered through a VIP customs exit at Sydney's airport and was greeted by numerous photographers and television camera crews. Jessica said, "I'm so excited, it's been so long since I've been here." The star joined her parents, JOE and TINA, as well as Ashlee, and was spotted shopping and sightseeing around Sydney. Ashlee explains, "It's been a while since we've all been together as a family so it's really nice - it's the start of our Easter vacation. We just want to spend time together and relax and enjoy it." Jessica had been in town for all of two hours before she hit the chic shops on Oxford Street in Paddington with her mother. Ashlee hung out with her boyfriend BRAXTON OLITA and her father Joe, before the entire family boarded a luxury yacht for a cruise around Darling Harbour.
