LLOYD BANKS - SHOOTING AT RAP BARBEQUE

A teenager has been left paralysed after shots were fired at a New York City party attended by G-UNIT rapper LLOYD BANKS. DESTIN MILLS, 18, was shot in the neck at the barbecue at the Queens home of JEFFREY JAY SHIELDS at 1am local time yesterday (28MAY06). Four men have been arrested, but police insist none is responsible for shooting Mills. The incident started after a number of motorbikes approached the house and began shooting over the fence. Mills was the only person hit. He was taken to Mary Immaculate Hospital. His mother COLETTE tells the New York Post, "He'll be paralysed for the rest of his life. It's devastating. I really feel the city needs to do something about all these guns on the street." Police want to speak to Banks, who witnesses claim was at the party, although they have no reason to believe he committed a crime. Shields, however, insists the star wasn't there. He says, "He wasn't here... They're gonna say 50 (Cent) was here, too."
