THE RULES OF ATTRACTION beauty SHANNYN SOSSAMON struggled harder than most actresses - she ended up homeless and on drugs..

The first time the A KNIGHT'S TALE actress went to Los Angeles to make it as a dancer she ended up with nowhere to live and having to sell her car.

She says, "I didn't have anywhere to live. I wasn't in a cardboard box or anything but I crashed on friends' floors and stayed up all night partying.

She adds that her lifestyle inevitably led to drugs, saying, "I wasn't an addict or anything but I did take them. I went back to Reno and nobody recognised me. The life was gone from my eyes , I'd gained weight and was depressed."
